Natalia’s exceptional interpersonal teaching skills and communicative abilities have helped the club has to build effective and positive relationships with students, schools, sporting bodies and the wider business community.
Natalia is a motivational leader who is adept at developing successful teams and maximising sporting potential whilst teaching the broad range of benefits which flow from participation.
Natalia qualified as a teacher in Hungary 15th June 1993 following a career as an athlete, (when she represented the Hungarian Nation). Injury meant Natalia could no longer compete at this level. As part of the Hungarian system, athletes help to train younger members of the team, which in turn encouraged her to become a teacher.
Natalia’s Professional Athletic Achievements 1989 -94
- Hungarian Athletics National Team member
- Hungarian 400m Hurdle Champion
- Hungarian Heptathlon Champion
Natalia has organised local, national and international fencing events, in particular the annual Manchester Cadet Tournament since 2002. This is an opportunity to expose young fencers to the cut and thrust of competition without feeling intimidated and pressured by senior competitors. Fencers from all over Europe were included in the line up and from the response this will continue to be an annual fixture in the young fencers diary and put us on the European Fencing Federation map.
